Welcome to Merrimac Elementary School!

At Merrimac, we believe school should be a place where children can't wait to walk through the doors each morning – a place where learning is engaging, kindness is celebrated, and every child feels seen, valued, and supported.

Our goal is to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, welcoming environment where they are encouraged to be curious, take risks, build confidence, and discover their unique strengths. We know that when children feel connected and cared for, amazing learning happens.

The heart of our school is reflected in the Merrimac Pledge. Each day, we encourage our students to be leaders, show kindness, embrace and celebrate differences, take responsibility for their actions, and make positive choices that strengthen our school community. These values are woven into everything we do – from our classrooms and assemblies to our playgrounds, hallways, and everyday interactions.

Our dedicated teachers and staff are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate growth, recognize effort, and work together to ensure that every child has the support they need to be successful.
