Welcome to this week's edition of the Magic Minutes! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

It was a fun and event-filled week at Merrimac!

Our PARP celebration wrapped up in the best way, with a PTA-sponsored donut breakfast for students who completed the Read-O board and a movie reward for our top-performing classes. A huge thank you to our PTA, Mrs. Martinez-Sabella, and Mrs. Dassau for making PARP such a special, schoolwide experience for our students.

Our 8:1:1 special classes had an exciting community-based outing, visiting the LIRR and enjoying a train ride—such a great real-world learning experience!

Don’t forget—report cards will be available on the Parent Portal beginning today at 3:00 p.m.

We’re also ending the week on a high note with Decades Day, as students and staff show off their spirit dressed in styles from different eras. Lots of fun and smiles all around!
